"I've made mistakes, I've lived lives. You sculpt a soul from ashes and wait for replies"
from "Puzzled Man", a
song off the upcoming album from Zedsketch invites one to
experience the lyrics filtered through haunting vocals that
hover over deep grooves and get wrapped in complex harmony.

This first full length album from the band was co-written,
produced, and engineered by legendary producer Nick Blagona
at his own Psychotropic Studios. Zedsketch, consisting of
co-writers singer Dan Sidoli and guitarist Jason Piers, were
eager to pour everything they had into the session. They emerged
with their most gripping work to date, a 10 song collection
that won't leave the CD player.

These are tunes that question,
provoke and inspire and are delivered with a passion and urgency
rarely heard on a debut album. The band draws from many contemporary
styles and weaves the strands of inspiration tightly around
the Zedsketch sonic core. Dan puts it this way: "We give
everything we've got in every aspect of our music. Whether
we are on the stage, in the studio, or just sitting down with
acoustic guitars and writing, we're giving 100%." Keep
your eyes on this band. Look out for Zedsketch. |
